Fair play, they are dedicating the game to the fan and are going to have a minutes applause (more than Mcindoe has ever had) and will wear black armbands.

If the CCFC fan moderator people are still reading can you also warm my seat up for me and make sure they stir the hot chocolate for once! I don't want to eat it!

Vaughan is out of David Moyes's plans and can leave Goodison to get first-team action at Championship level to keep sharp for a potential sale in the summer.

But the Goodison club have shocked interested outfits - headed by Derby County and Coventry - by demanding a loan payment to them as well as the payment for the player's wages in full.

Everton think they can cash in on Vaughan because there is rival interest in him and will wait to find out who offers the most money in the package.

F**k that, greedy basdids!

If he's so great then why don't they just keep him - it's not like Everton are banging the goals in this season.

They're obviously busy trying to get rid of the Peter Andre shirt.

That would require having someone at the club with a basic grasp of PR.

Nearly gave up after half-time "entertainment". Although they sang live, I suggest Pete Townsend does a little more "research" into how to mime playing his guitar - it's not like his trademark windmill is a new move.

In other news City have announced they aren't going to sign James Vaughan

James Vaughan....might as well be Frankie Vaughan. Couldn't afford his wages.

Very sad news abut the death of the City fan.

It would be nice if the club could put a condolence message on the website (like Blackburn did pretty much straight away) for the family and friends of the fan that was killed. He was only 22.

I'd also welcome the signing of James Vaughan, though we'd still need a target man.

Superbowl was good. Happy that Saints won, will do wonders for the City. Mardi Gras will be insane now.

Everton striker James Vaughan will be allowed to leave the club on loan this week, with Derby County and Coventry both interested in the 21-year-old.

Good news if we get him, class player.

Sharky - the Maples Leafs are bound to be sh1t, they have been given the kiss of death of being supported by me. Add them to a list that includes CCFC, St Etienne and England, all teams who will let you down at every available opportunity. Think I might start supporting ManUre, see how strong the Russell curse is.

Just back from a week in Laos, best country I've ever been to and heartily recommended to all travelling LASTers. Smokin' hot laydeez into the bargain.

Tim:

Your Maple Leafs are looking promising right now. They've just acquired defender Dion Phaneuf and goalkeeper Jean-Sebastien Giguere. They're also up 4-0 against the Ottawa Senators after 2 periods. The Sens haven't lost for 11 games.

Are you getting ready for the Olympics?? :D :D

We're worse than England when SGE was Manager... go up 1-0 and try and defend it. It never works in English football.

David McKnackeredKnee hs just come off the bench for Plymouth...great piece of business getting shot of him. Looked a decent player but just so injury prone.

Jordan Henderson playing well for Sunderland I hear.

LOL! @ Coyley

The FA is doing its best to facillitate the English football press. By giving the armband to Rio-I'd rather going shopping than go for a mandatory drug test-Ferdinand, the media must be laughing its socks off. Talk about taking candy off a baby. . . money for old rope. . . etc. . . etc. . .
